Earn Alaska Airlines Miles with ReachNow
Today ReachNow announced they are teaming up with Alaska Airlines to provide Mileage Plan members 50 or 100 Alaska miles per eligible ride. This promotion is running through May 13, 2018, though I wouldn’t be surprised to see it extended.
First, you must link your ReachNow and Alaska Airlines Mileage Plan. To do so, visit https://reachnow.com/en/alaskaairlines/ and enter your name, email address and Mileage Plan number. It may take up to 5 days to link accounts. You will receive an email notification once they are linked.
In order to earn the 50 mile bonus, you must take a trip that is at least 10 minutes in length.
If you want the 100 mile bonus, you must begin or end your trip at Seatac Airport. Learn more about ReachNow at the airport in this post.
I am not sure if you can double dip and the terms and conditions are not clear. My guess would be that a 10+ minute drive to/from Seatac will still earn you 100 miles (not 150 miles), mainly because a trip to/from Seatac is always going to be 10+ minutes. There is no “home” area for ReachNow closer than 10 minutes drive. Also the graphic above (from the website) says “or” making me believe it is 50 OR 100 miles, but not both.
I value Alaska Airlines miles at a 1.5 cents. 50 miles, to me, is worth $0.75. It isn’t necessarily worth going out of your way to take a ReachNow for this promotion, but if you are going to take one anyway, why not get some bonus miles?
Are you going to sign up?
