Last summer when visiting Cedar Point I purchased the Premium All Day Dining pass and enjoyed the food and value it provided. So when I visited Six Flags Magic Mountain, I decided to purchase the Premium All Day Dining pass again. In 2026 the pass costs $45 + $4.39 in taxes for a total of $49.39. After purchasing online, I had to show my barcode to receive a wristband for the day. With it you get a meal or snack every 90 minutes plus a soda every 15 minutes.
I figured I would have lunch and dinner at the park, plus want to get a beverage and/or waters, and given my positive experience at Cedar Point, I figured it would be a good value.
Unfortunately the food at Magic Mountain is horrible. I wasn’t expecting gourmet but I figured it would be similar to Cedar Point. I was wrong.
First, a number of the dining locations were closed, especially when the park first opened at 10:30am. So it took some time to even find a place to use the pass at first. Second, they were simply out of a lot of food. Third, a lot of the dining locations were understaffed so it took a long time to get food. Fourth, the staff ranged from untrained to rude.
So, here is how I ended up using the Premium All Day Dining.
11:00am – Snack
My goal was to get a snack as soon as the park opened, but I couldn’t find any restaurants that were open. So after a couple rides I found a location that served churros near Gold Rusher. It was a good churro, but it is hard to really mess up a churro I suppose.

1:15pm – Lunch
I tried to get lunch at 12:30 when I was eligible for my next snack/meal. However, after standing in line for about 20 minutes to get a taco salad at Food, Etc., I was told that they didn’t have lettuce that day.

I had read good things about Twisted ‘Wiches near Twisted Colossus, so I made my way over there. Apparently the restaurant changed to Twisted Pies and served unappetizing looking pizza by the slice. Even the app and website still had it listed as ‘Wiches.
I kept walking. Johnny Rockets had a huge line. I finally found a place that served pizza near the spot I got my morning churro.
I asked for a slice of pizza with a side salad and was told that the only side they had were breadsticks. At this point I was not wanting to search for something else so I ordered it. After scanning my bracelet the employee said it would be $23 (which wasn’t even the price listed on the menu). I reminded him I had the dining pass, and he rescanned by bracelet and said $23. I again reminded him of the dining pass and said “Oh, I thought you just wanted to use that for a drink”.
I finally got my sad pizza and breadstick and a Coke.

2:45pm – Snack
I was going to get a Dole Whip but the line was incredibly long so I decided to get a jumbo pickle. I figured it would be like you get at the fair (or Jimmy Johns). However, it was an individually sealed pickle in a baggie with brine. It was mushy and didn’t taste good, so I threw it away.
The positive was I apparently was about one minute early but the employee was nice and let me have it anyway, also allowing me to get another snack nearly immediately.

3:30pm – Snack/Meal
Earlier I had passed by a restaurant across from Full Throttle called Max’d Out Mac & Screaming Spuds that served baked potatoes and mac & cheese with toppings. It sounded fun so I tried their Buffalo Chicken Mac & Cheese bowl. It was pasta with Alfredo sauce and some chicken, ranch, and green onions on top; and sadly probably the best meal I found.

5:15pm – Dinner
I still wanted a salad (or anything healthy) and finally found one at Katy’s Kettle across from Tatsu. I got a chicken salad which was a large bed of Romaine lettuce, cherry tomatoes, sliced up chicken tenders, cheese and ranch dressing.

It was the healthiest option in the park and was just what I expected and nothing more.
I was pretty tired after dinner and decided to call it a day (I had been the night before for a couple of hours so got the evening experience). I could have probably spend another 90 minutes to get an ice cream or something, but it just didn’t seem worth it.
I do not recommend the Premium All Day Dining pass at Magic Mountain. If I were to do it again I’d eat lunch at the park (probably get a salad or some chicken tenders just to hold me over) and pay for a couple bottles of water, and then leave for dinner. There is an In-N-Out Burger less than a mile away where you can get cheaper and better food.
What do you think of the dining options at Six Flags Magic Mountain?
