Caesars Rewards Free Night for Each 5,000 Tier Credits
One of the benefits of Caesars Rewards is the ability to earn one free night in a Caesars Rewards hotel in Las Vegas or Atlantic City for every 5,000 Tier Credits earned during a calendar year. If you are signing up for Caesars Rewards for the first time, use this link and get a free 500 Tier Credits to start you off.
You earn one free night for every 5,000 Tier Credits you earn (up to a total of 7 free nights in a calendar year). Once you earn Tier Credits, they remain in your account until the end of the calendar year. You don’t “spend” Tier Credits to get the free night, the Tier Credits remain in your total earned for the year.
The free night can be redeemed at any of the following properties:
- Tropicana Atlantic City
- Caesars Atlantic City
- Harrah’s Resort Atlantic City
- The LINQ Hotel & Casino
- Caesars Palace Las Vegas
- The Cromwell Las Vegas
- Flamingo Las Vegas
- Harrah’s Las Vegas
- Planet Hollywood Las Vegas
- Paris Las Vegas
- Rio All-Suite Hotel & Casino Las Vegas
The problem that I ran into is that it is not advertised how to actually use these earned free nights. They don’t advertise it on the Caesars Rewards website.
Recently I received an email reminding me that I had free nights to use that I hadn’t yet redeemed. In the fine print, it spelled out how to redeem the free nights.
It is not possible to redeem the free nights online. Instead, you have to call 1-800-223-7277 and mention the code below:
- CR50001NT – Earned after 5,000 Tier Credits
- CR10KT1NT – Earned after 10,000 Tier Credits
- CR15KT1NT – Earned after 15,000 Tier Credits
- CR20KT1NT – Earned after 20,000 Tier Credits
- CR25KT1NT – Earned after 25,000 Tier Credits
- CR30KT1NT – Earned after 30,000 Tier Credits
- CR35KT1NT – Earned after 35,000 Tier Credits
You must then redeem the free night within the calendar year it was earned. That means if you earn 5,000 Tier Credits on December 30, then the free night is worthless. UPDATE: You actually have until January 31 to redeem the free night. Thank you Kristen for pointing this out.
You also must book your free night at least 48 hours prior to arrival.
The biggest challenge is actually finding a night that the free nights are available. Don’t expect to use your free night when rates are high, over holidays or weekend nights. There is no published blackout date calendar. Instead you have to call in and have them search for you.
UPDATE: Commenter Holden mentions that you can now use the Caesars app to find and book free nights. I haven’t been able to find this on Android, but if you have details on how to book your Tier Credit night without calling in; let me know!
