NoMad Las Vegas Salon Double Room Review
Previously I reviewed the NoMad Las Vegas and the Atelier Room. This review will focus only on the Salon Double Room.
I booked a standard room through an offer in my M life account. When I arrived (one night, Saturday stay), I was upgraded to a Salon Double — Room 31-61. A reminder that the NoMad Las Vegas is a hotel within a hotel in the Park MGM.
My room, and my guess, all of the Salon Double rooms, is located just off the bank of the elevators. I didn’t notice elevator noise during my stay.
As you first enter the room, there is an entry area with a desk, mini bar, and walk in closet.
There is a door way (no door) that leads into the bed area. Being the Salon Double, there are two beds.
The sheets and bedding are very soft and feel luxurious. There is an outlet in the wall between the two beds for easy access.
Against the one window in the room is small table and chairs. I was visiting during COVID, and there was a safety pack that included two NoMad branded masks and a spray hand sanitizer.
I had a strip view of the MGM Grand.
The beds face the “parlor” part of the room. An odd half-circle shaped nook with seating and a wall mounted TV. The wall was covered in a fabric curtain.
Though I didn’t use the area, it is a cool room element that is unique and feels luxurious.
Bathroom
Off one side of the parlor is the door to the bathroom.
There is a double vanity under a large mirror. Plenty of towels are provided. A separate toilet room is off to the side. The counter is marble. All of the bathroom fixtures feel high end though not over the top like many Vegas hotels.
Opposite the sinks is the large shower. No curtain or door separate it, so the floor did get a bit wet. There is a single shower head (no handheld wand). The controls are opposite the shower to prevent you from getting sprayed when you turn on the water. Unlike the Atelier Room, there is no tub.
All of the bath products are Argan branded, though in a different packaging than during my previous stay at the NoMad in November 2019.
The Park MGM and NoMad are completely non-smoking now which is another plus for the property. The first time I stayed at the Park MGM, the room smelled so strongly of marijuana that asked for a room change and ended up with a suite.
The NoMad is a great hotel within a hotel, and overall one of my favorite places to stay in Vegas. The ban on smoking makes it even better. I like the Parlor Double Room. The only reason the Atelier Room scores more points in my book is for the tub (and a single King bed), but the Parlor Double is a great option too.

Is the sofa a sleeper sofa?
I do not believe it is.
