Abu Dhabi Lounge (AUH)

Abu Dhabi Lounge AUH

Currently there is only one Priority Pass lounge at Abu Dhabi International Airport and it is in the older Terminal 1.  I’m not sure how such a large airport has no Priority Pass in their main modern terminal.

Fortunately (or unfortunately) for me my flight on Wizz Air was leaving from the old Terminal 1.

Just after security, turn right and you will see the sign for the “Abu Dhabi Airport Hotel & Lounge”.

Go past the front desk and up the stairs or elevator to enter the lounge.

The lounge was quite busy when I arrived a little after 4:00am.  There is a ton of seating in different sections.

Not surprisingly, the dining room area was the most crowded.  For breakfast they had a couple of hot items and some basic cold items.

A self service fridge had sodas and waters.

If you wanted alcohol or juice, that was available in the bar in the next room.

There are restrooms, shower rooms, and a prayer room in the lounge.

While not the most peaceful lounge, it was a fine spot to spend a bit of time before a flight.  Note that it is a 5-10 minute walk to the gates from the lounge.
