NoMad Las Vegas Grande Suite Review
I have now stayed at the NoMad Las Vegas three times; each in a different room type. Previously I stayed in a Salon Double and Atelier Suite. This stay I was upgraded to a Grande Suite.
NoMad is a hotel within a hotel at the Park MGM (formerly the Monte Carlo). It takes up the top four floors of the Park MGM and has just under 300 rooms. The entire Park MGM is non-smoking including the casino.
I was assigned room 30-70 (on the 30th floor), located midway down the hall.
As you first enter the room, you are in a small entry with the mini bar and a half-bath.
The living room area has a velvet couch and two leather chairs. A colorful screen gives pops of color behind the TV.
The bedroom is separated from the living room with French doors that can be closed and locked.
The bedroom has one King bed. Under the window is a bench seat. The bed faces a wall mounted TV.
Next to the bed (opposite the window) is a large soaking tub.
A closet is located near the tub.
I love that there are hardwood floors throughout the room. The decor is fantastic with a ton of framed art throughout. The room had a view back of the T-Mobile Arena.
Bathroom
The main bathroom is off of the bedroom. If you don’t feel like taking a bath, there is a large shower in addition to the single vanity.
There is also a nook with a dressing table in the bathroom.
One very strange decision was to not put a toilet in the bathroom. The only toilet in the room is back out by the entry in the half-bath. I wish they would have added a toilet where the dressing table is located.
All of the bath products are Argan branded.
Of the three room types I’ve tried at the NoMad Las Vegas, the Grande Suite is the largest and most comfortable. The only negative I can say is regarding the lack of a toilet in the main bathroom.
The NoMad Las Vegas feels luxurious and elegant. It is still new and feels high quality. It may be my favorite property on the strip — beating out The Cromwell now that the rooms there are dated and not maintained. Overall Wynn is a a better property, but the rooms at NoMad are more my style.
