Alaska Lounge N Satellite at Sea-Tac Review
Sea-Tac Airport recently completed phase one of their complete reconstruction of the North Satellite concourse. Alaska Airlines controls 100% of the gates, so it makes sense that they recently opened their biggest Alaska Lounge at this location.
The Alaska Lounge is located on the second floor of the new N gates area above gates N13-18. You can either take the elevators in the middle of the terminal or the stairs.
A large glass wall is to the right of the entrance that gives the lounge a more open feel.
Access to the Lounge is available to those flying in paid First Class (no upgrades), Alaska Lounge members and guests, or anyone who pays $50 for a day pass ($25 if you are an Alaska Airlines Visa card holder). Alaska Mileage Plan Gold 75K elites also get four Lounge passes per year.
Once you have checked in, a fireplace with seating and large picture windows is ahead of you.
Restful seating is to the far left with additional views. Each seat has built in power outlets.
To the right of the entrance is the snack area. In the morning a barista makes various coffee drinks. A Coke Freestyle machine is against one wall.
Food is snacks only; you may purchase more substantial meals should you so desire.
There is additional seating in the cafe area including tables under lamps made to look like airplane engines.
Past the cafe area is the bar. Drinks, including beer, wine and cocktails are complimentary (no tipping allowed), though top shelf drinks are available for a cost.
There are two sets of gendered restrooms on either side of the entrance.
Overall the new Alaska Lounge at the N Gates of Sea-Tac Airport is a beautiful open space with high ceilings and lots of windows. Seating is plentiful; it makes me wonder if they will bring back Priority Pass access.
Of note, if you do have Priority Pass, you can currently have a free meal at Bambuza, located just below the lounge.
