Citi Prestige 4th Night Free + Hyatt Prive Benefits No More
Recently Hyatt introduced their Prive program where stays booked with a Prive designated travel agent could get added benefits to their stay including hotel credits and free breakfast. This was a great option for people like me that no longer have top tier Gloabalist status.
Citi Concierge (and the travel agents associated) are able to book stays for guests with the Prive benefits. This is especially beneficial as it has been reported that you can combine the Prive benefits with the Citi Prestige 4th Night Free.
Sadly, it seems that yesterday the ability to combine these two great benefits has been discontinued. Reports on FlyerTalk are that the Citi Concierge agents are no longer able to double dip. I was able to confirm this with Citi Concierge. Now you have to choose between Hyatt Prive OR Citi Prestige 4th Night Free.
It was good while it lasted.
